What is a "boutique" tour company?
- A "boutique " tour company is one that services groups of 20 or less. This offers more personalized service.
How does it differ from larger tour companies?
- Large bus companies work on volume. Buses can be crowded and sometimes delayed to certain stops. Our semi-private day and evening tour maximum group size is six passengers. Also, the day tour driver/guide will have no more than 2 groups to manage allowing a smooth transition between stops.
What is the difference between a private and semi-private tour?
- A private tour is based on an hourly rate. The driver/guide has only that group and the can be customized. The semi-private tours leave from a centralized location. The group size is only 6 passengers and the driver/guide may have 2 groups during the day tour. The tour itinerary is set and not readily customizable.
Why do children under 5 years old have to pay?
- Children under the age of 9 years old by law are required to be in booster or car seats. This therefore has them occupying a seat of a possible paying passenger. To help passengers with young children we will provide a booster seat for children 3 years and older (passengers with children under 3 must provide their own infant carrier or car seat).
Can you customize your tour?
- Only private tours can be customized.
